What does a Camborne Retail Volunteer do?
The role of the Camborne Retail Volunteer is varied and interesting. If you are ready to serve our customer’s, sort through our ever changing stock, create displays and support the local community, then this volunteering role could be for you. If you’d rather be in the back room steaming clothes for sale, and preparing donations for the shop floor that’s also great. What you do in our Camborne shop may vary in relation to the time you are available to volunteer, but we are keen to add you to our existing and friendly team.
Camborne Retail Volunteering can include
- Serving on the till
- Welcoming and helping our customers
- Processing Gift Aid donations
- Hanging, sizing, ticketing and steaming our clothing for the shop floor
- Restocking shelves and rails
- Keeping the shop displays fresh and interesting
- Promoting our Cornwall Hospice Care Lottery
Camborne Retail Volunteer commitment
Most of our shops are currently open Monday to Saturday.
We offer a flexible and responsive volunteering environment and would be delighted if you can volunteer for a morning or afternoon shift, ideally weekly or fortnightly. But talk to us about what you can offer.
Training and Induction
Volunteers are asked to attend training and induction activity prior to beginning their volunteering. There are some mandatory training sessions to complete with our support.
